Use a copy machine to enlarge the Halloween invitation itself and wear it like a big sign, telling everyone that you are the "prints" or "prints-ess" of the party. Or you could just stick Halloween invites all over your body and tell everyone you are a deck of cards!

When a Halloween party invitation encourages you to bring a guest, it's a golden opportunity to don devilishly delightful duo costumes. Depending on the tone of the event set by the Halloween invitation, you and your date can dress up like easily recognizable celebs, literary characters or household items. Salt and pepper are popular choices, as are the signature looks of celebrity pairings like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. If the Halloween party invitation sets a more playful tone, women can channel their inner fairy tale princesses by dressing up like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, and men can go with characters like Bert and Ernie or Bart Simpson and Milhouse.

No matter what creative costume you choose, a little imagination and a lot of style will surely make this one happening Halloween!

New halloween Couple Costumes to Choose From

Halloween costumes for couples, There are plenty of new couple costumes available this year for guys and gals to choose from, and these are sure to surprise everyone at all the Halloween costume parties for their creativity and daring. Some of the new ideas for couple costumes that are fresh and new this year include the Adam and Eve Costume Set, the Handcuffs Costume, the Plug and Socket Costume Set, the Lock and Key Costume Set and the Bowling Pin / Bowling Ball costumes. These are great Halloween costumes for new couples, old couples, married couples and couples that are just shacking up.

There are always classic couple costumes that have been in style for many years, which many couples might in fact be wearing this year and many years into the future. There are Star Wars costumes for couples like Princess Leia and Han Solo, for example, which have been popular for almost 30 years. There are also Disney costumes such as Cinderella and her prince with the glass slipper that are perfect for young couples and old couples alike.

Couples have never had so many options when October 31st rolls around. The latest couple costumes are a bit more daring and tongue-in-cheek than the classic choices, although those classic choices are always going to be in style. Halloween costumes such as the Plug and Socket or the Lock and Key are a bit suggestive, while some may find the Adam and Eve costume set to be a bit controversial.

When it comes to couple costumes the sky's the limit - as long as both parties involved like the ideas as much as the other. There are plenty of options when it comes to couple costumes. Any type of couple can find the right garb to suit their personalities and impress all their friends at this year's Halloween costume parties.

10 Sexy Halloween Costume Ideas

Sexy Costumes to Wear for Halloween

These are a list of some costumes that I have seen people wear at a few parties. Some of these might be a little over the top but if you want to have some fun and be carefree for one night out of the year and you're still deciding on what to wear to the upcoming Halloween party, then take a moment to read through this list. You may even want to mix and match a few.

1. Playboy Bunny - You've probably seen these costumes before. I have seen some women wear the bunny nose which in my opinion should be left out. The outfit itself is sexy and the nose just kind of kills it. It reminds me of a scene in the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry where Adam Sandler sees who he has mistaken as Jessica Biel in a bunny outfit but when she turns around, it's David Spade! Blah! No offense to David Spade!

2. French Maid - Now this is hot! I've seen a couple of women wear this and this is definitely an eye catcher. There seems to be different version of this costume but my favorite seems to be the one that isn't fluffy at the skirt. I'm not sure what the correct terminology is but there are the maid outfits that are short and flare out. The shortness is fine but the flaring seems a bit too much.

3. Jane - Tarzan's fair maiden. If you are attending an indoor Halloween party, then you shouldn't have any problems with this outfit. I've seen a lot of different versions of this costume and all of them looked amazing! I knew a friend who put on a bikini and tucked in some brown felt material around her top and bottom and looked just like she came out of the jungle!

4. Nurse - If you've seen one, you've seen them all but I think the best nurse outfits are the ones that resemble the old nurse's uniforms with the hat and dress in high heels. The leather outfits are sexy but a little played out for my taste.

5. Indian (Native) - These are the Pocahontas type costumes with a single feather protruding from the head band. Short p/leather material skirts and tops, an Indian necklace, moccasins, arm band, and bracelets and you're good to go!

6. Indian (Bollywood) - This style has been seen more frequently and quite frankly, I think that they're sexy as well as elegant and beautiful. They have the little dot on their foreheads (bindi), a midriff top, silky loose pants, high heels, with a long scarf which I believe to be called a Sari wrapped loosely around their shoulders. I've seen these outfits mixed with a little Western style and it looks beautiful.

7. Flight Attendant - I've only seen one of these costumes at a party and it looked HOT! The little hat, coat, with a button up shirt that is not necessarily buttoned up, short skirt, and high heels...need I say more?

8. Mafiosa - I've seen this pulled off a couple of different ways. The outfits are supposed to portray the way the gangsters looked during the 1920's. One woman had a full striped suit with slacks, high heels, and a very sexy shirt underneath her coat, a fake Tommy gun, and the distinctive hats they wore back in those days. The other outfit was similar only with a loose skirt, high boots, a long coat, the hat, and a fake Tommy gun. Both were very hot.

9. Police - I generally wouldn't add this to my list except for the fact that I saw this one women in Vegas during a costume party and she had on a realistic looking police uniform, badge, fake gun (at least I think it was), holster, belt, cuffs, and here hair was slicked back and tied up in a bun. Her shirt was a bit revealing and I think the fact that the costume appeared so realistic as opposed to those played out pleather police skirts you see so often, made it so attractive.

10. Polynesian Girl - What many refer to as a Hula Dancer. This can be pulled off a couple of different ways. First method includes a grass skirt or sarong, coconut top or bikini top, a flower lei, and haku lei (the one that goes on the head). The second method involves wearing a Hawaiian dress of sorts, and haku lei. The second is bit more conservative depending on the dress but still sexy.

3 Sexy Halloween Costumes for the Ladies!

Halloween is coming very soon: in fact it is just around the corner. Have you planned anything for Halloween yet? If not, it is time to start planning. One thing you need to plan about is your costume: after all, what is Halloween without a good looking, sexy costume?sexy halloween costumes,

Since there is nothing set in stone about Halloween costumes, you can wear whatever you wish. If you want to look a bit sexy this year, you can wear a lingerie for that matter. You will not only look sexy with the appropriate lingerie, but also generate a lot of attention from others. Of course, if you are uncomfortable with unnecessary attention, then this is not for you!
You can buy lingerie costumes from your local store but if you are short on time then I would recommend you visit the online stores instead! Believe it or not, you will find larger variety of costume styles and sizes from online stores than you would from your local store. Your choice of lingerie should be based on two criteria: your body size, and more importantly, what you want to look like! In this article I will give you three options to decide on the second criteria.

One thing you should keep in mind is that you should choose a lingerie that you feel comfortable with. Whatever you choose for yourself, if you are able to carry yourself off without feeling awkward or uneasy then you will really enjoy the Halloween party!

1. Sexy nurse costume: Whether or not you are a qualified nurse doesn't matter; if you are someone who wouldn't mind giving others a helping hand, then the sexy nurse costume will surely compliment your personality!

2. Sexy school girl costume: Do you ever feel nostalgic about your school days? Perhaps you think about that time when you were a sexy school girl and used to flirt with other boys? If this is you then the sexy girl costume is for you. If nothing else, this would help you relive your past!

3. Sexy police officer costume: If you are someone who would like to maintain law and order in the party, then this costume is for you! Be an upright police officer and take charge of the situation whenever there is a law and order problem in your party. If you think you cannot do it all yourself, you can even ask someone else to pose as your deputy!

Dare to Wear a Sexy Costume

What are the difference and similitude between a lovely Nintendo Princess Peach toddler and her adult version? sexy halloween costumes A party costume that looking the same is quite sexy for an adult women or teenage girl Sexy costumes have the charm of those heroes and heroines that we loved in our childhood and we may still adore deep in our heart, but that we believe are not longer an option for us after we begin to grow up putting those costumes along with our fantasies in a drawer inside our closet, although most people do not keep the costumes they were during their childhood days.

If you have ever seen how lovely looks a little girl disguised as Batgirl, Strawberry Shortcake, Little Red Riding Hood, Rainbow Brite, the Dark Heart Queen, or Star Wars Princess Leia, do not be shy and dare to wear the adult version of these characters that are not charming, are simply sexy costumes that look really great. There's no reason to overspend on Halloween costumes if you plan ahead. Here are tips for saving money at Halloween.

1. Prepare for next year - of course it's too late now, but check Halloween stores and local drugstores the day after Halloween and stock up on accessories that don't go out of style like face makeup, vampire teeth, and cobweb netting. The discounts are often as much as 90%. Garage sales also net very, very cheap Halloween costumes if you're willing to grab them when you see them.

2. Start early - It is easy to sometimes make your own, but never a good idea to start looking for good budget ideas on October 30th.

3. Look for ideas that don't tie to specific characters. It's hard to make something look like a real good knock-off of Mickey Mouse.

4. Try community sites for previously used Halloween outfits, especially in kids' sizes.

5. Involve your child - ask them what they want to be and use items your kids are already interested in. If you have football or soccer outfits, use them. This is simple and might be easier to sell to your child rather than trying to imitate what they have seen on TV.

6. Take a trip to thrift store and consider these favorites:

• Old prom dresses, along with blood for a "Carrie" costume, or for Beauty Pageant misfits
• Bridal gowns for "Bride of Frankenstein" or cut down as princess dresses
• Old tuxedos for crazy French waiters
• Retro outfits

7. Consider these cheap and easy costumes:

• Wrap a sheet and you have a mummy or a toga costume
• Safety pin odd clothing items to a single colored ensemble and go as "static cling."
• Wrap a red blanket around a child, put on a big cross or other medallion and go as a medieval crusader
• Eye patch, red turtleneck, blue jeans and a red bandana for a pirate
• Attach Smarties to your child's pants with packing tape to create a "smartie(s) pants" costume (familyfun.com idea)

8. Consult websites for ideas. Two of our favorites are:

• coolest-homemade-costumes.com - idea sharing site
• familyfun.com (even a category for last minute ideas)

There are plenty of ideas without the need for a glue gun or sewing machine. Even if you feel you aren't very creative, the websites listed above have lots of ideas of things you can put together mostly using items you have at home.

Halloween doesn't have to be expensive and can be a lot of fun, probably more so, if you use a little imagination rather than buying something off the rack at the store. Put on your creative hat and get cracking because here is an easy method for creating homemade Halloween masks for your little trick-or-treater.

20 Spooktacular Tips for a Green Halloween

Back in the day, we celebrated Halloween the eco-friendly way before we knew what eco-friendly meant. Costumes weren't bought in a bag, they were made. Halloween treats were usually homemade and gobbled up as soon as they were dropped into our Halloween sacks (aka pillowcases). We would bob for apples, snack on popcorn balls, tell scary stories, and play flashlight tag in the dark.

Admittedly, times have changed and there are some safeguards that we must now take to keep our children safe. But we can still make this a green Halloween with a few easy tips.

Candy - Kids expect candy but we can deliver on that in a responsible way.

1. Yummy Earth makes truly yummy lollipops that are certified organic. Pomegranate Pucker is my fave. You can find Yummy Earth Lollipops in nearly every grocery store but if you can't find them near you, they are currently offering free shipping if you buy on their website.

2. Endangered Species Chocolate sells individual milk and dark chocolates wrapped in festive orange and brown wrappers for Halloween. These chocolates are all-natural and ethically traded. Plus, 10% of their net profits are donated to help support species, habitat, and humanity.

3. Panda Licorice is made in Finland with all natural ingredients. We conducted an entirely non-scientific taste test in our home and the former household champion, Twizzler, was beat hands down by Panda Licorice.

4. Newman's Own Peanut Butter Cups are simply yummy goodness.

5. Don't want to dispense candy this Halloween? Why not give unexpected goodies like soy crayons, smencils made from recycled newspaper, stickers, or other spooktacular goodies.

Costumes - Steer clear of the costume-in-a-bag and get your child's creative juices flowing.

6. Make your own costume from items in your closet or garage. It's amazing what you can create with a large box and your imagination.

7. If you're not feeling creative you can buy a used costume at a 2nd hand shop or find one on Craigslist.

8. Organize a costume swap with your friends, family, and neighbors.

9. Keep those batteries out of the landfills and use a crank powered flashlight to light the way during trick-or-treating or for a game of flashlight tag.

10. Bust out an old pillowcase for trick-or-treating instead of buying a plastic candy pail.

Decorations - Please forgo the disposable paper and plastic Halloween decorations and invest in spooky decorations that you can use year after year. Or go all-natural!

11. Decorate your home, inside and out, with locally grown pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, and brightly colored fall leaves. These natural decorations will provide a splash of season-appropriate color all the way through Thanksgiving.

12. Make homemade luminaries to light your pathway or place along your windowsills. Save a few tin cans, wash well, fill with water, and put in freezer. Once frozen, you will be able to pound a simple pattern into the can using a hammer and a nail. The ice will keep the can from collapsing as you create your masterpiece. Make simple jack-o-lantern faces, a cat, the moon, or the word "BOO". When finished carving, remove the ice and dry well. Put some sand, dirt, or rocks in the bottom to weigh down. Place a tea light candle or a glow stick inside. Note: if you use a candle, place your luminaries up and away from your Halloween traffic. Windowsills are the perfect location for these recycled luminaries.

13. There are many solar-powered Halloween lights on the market. These are great because you aren't using energy to light them and you don't have to worry about extension cords.

14. Make a simple ghost for your yard by putting a bike helmet on a hat stand. Attach a broom or a long stick to form a cross. Drape a white sheet over the hat stand and say "boo".

15. Create a scarecrow with jeans and a shirt, stuffed with old newspaper, straw, or leaves. Leave it headless for a scary version or add a pumpkin on top with a funny face.

16. Find other home décor items made from natural materials, like Acorn Baskets made from natural seagrass. These are not only adorable but functional and can be used year-round.

17. Banish the home fragrance sprays and fill your home with the scents of homemade cookies or a fresh-baked pie. Don't have time? Light a fragrant soy candle with all-natural essential oils. There are several mouth watering holiday scents.

18. Light the path for trick-or-treaters with an orange CFL bulb.

Post-Halloween Disposal

19. Add your post-Halloween pumpkins to your compost pile. If you can accommodate it, ask your neighbors to donate their jack-o-lanterns to your compost as well.

20. Clean your used costumes and pack away for next year's costume swap. Or add them to your kid's closet for dress up games.

Have a safe and happy GREEN HALLOWEEN!

How to Make Your own Homemade Halloween Costume

Let's face it, with the economy going the way it is, more and more families are searching for ways to save a few dollars here and there. And now, with the fall season upon us, we are approaching three main festivals that require the spending of money -- halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Wouldn't it be great if we could get a few ideas to help us save some money during these times, instead of spending more?

Well, I've got great news for you! Why not take some time to make your own homemade Halloween costume. This will not only save you some money, but it can be a great family activity for you and your children. And in this day and age, we could always use a little more quality family time.

Most of us aren't very creative, so here are four ideas to get you started in making your own homemade Halloween costume:

1. Clothes from Your Closet -- Old prom dresses or bridesmaid dresses can turn into a bride's gown or a beauty pageant costume for a little girl. Or raid dad's closet and dress like a Nerd or Businessman. If you dig deep enough into your closet, you might even be able to pull off a last-minute Punk Rocker or Hippie costume.

2. Headbands -- Many costumes require little more than a headband and a hot glue gun. If you have those two items at home, look around your house for items to start gluing on. If you have some tulle, a doily, lace, or any piece of fabric, you can make a veil. Add flowers to really 'fancy it up'. Cut some felt pieces and glue them on to make ears (bunny ears, cat ears, dog ears, or any other animal you can imagine). You can even quickly make antennae to be an alien or bug by simply gluing some pipe cleaners onto a headband.

3. Sweatsuits -- A white sweatsuit can easily become a cow or Dalmatian. Simply take a Black Sharpie and draw spots onto the fabric. Then put a little black on your child's nose. (Add ears if you have time, using a headband and felt - see above.)

4. Cardboard Boxes -- Got a large cardboard box laying around? Cut holes for your head and arms, and then create any number of costumes in minutes. For example, your child can be a TV - just take a black marker and draw a screen and some buttons onto the front. You can even take an old cord and glue it to the back of the box. How about a computer? Same idea -- draw a screen on the front, and then glue a computer mouse (or even a furry mouse as a joke) to the side of the box. Or my favorite -- a washing machine. Make an opening on top of the box (in front of the child's head), or on the front of the box. Inside this opening you can glue a smaller box or bag, and this can be where everyone places the child's candy when he goes trick or treating.

You don't have to spend a lot of money to create a fun, inexpensive homemade Halloween costume. Just look around the house and use a little imagination, and your child will soon be wearing one of the best costumes in the neighborhood!

Easiest Homemade Halloween Costumes

Homemade Halloween Costumes
Here is a guide to homemade Halloween costumes for people who have two left hands. These series are an infinite source of inspiration for anyone who is looking for a Halloween costume. But the 1960's and the 1970's have been particularly productive in a brand new category: they gave birth to the science fiction genre and made it accessible to the general public and in particular to the entire family. Long before the 1960's and the 1970's, the cinema produced sci-fi films such as When Worlds Collide, but these two decades in particular improved that kind of films and brought them into our homes through two highly popular series.

Let's start by the first of these series, which is Gene Roddenberry's brainchild: Star Trek. Obviously, Star Trek was famous for things like the first interracial kiss and the use of physics in a way that confused many people, but it was also very famous for the types of costumes worn by the crew of the legendary USS Enterprise.

Take the example of being a Dr Leonard "Bones" Mc Coy from this period of time, you should wear a uniform consisting of a blue sweater, black trousers as well as black boots. This is the costume that would be recognized instantly by people whether they were fans of the show or not. As a second example, Star Trek is very famous for the characters that inspired the term "redshirt", these non-main character in a red shirt that would be violently killed within minutes after their introduction. This type of costume is surely highly original and easy to make at home and could earn you some laughs and cheers this upcoming Halloween.

While Star Trek was the most popular science fiction series that started during the sixties, Star Wars had its foundation laid during the seventies. Created by George Lucas and involving Jedi Knights, The Force and some of the more memorable characters to ever come out of science fiction, Star Wars was a totally different style than Star Trek. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, are good examples of Star Wars characters of which you could model your costume after. As an alternative, there are imperial stormtrooper officer in a black uniform, Starfleet soldiers as well as rebel pilots in orange-white uniforms and all of them would be very recognizable as well.

There are a lot more choices in 60's and 70's science fiction series or movies like "Space: 1999", "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" or "Logan's Run" to get you inspired, which makes them an almost infinite source for Halloween costume ideas.
